Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration and Member of the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS), affirmed the Institute’s keenness to reinforce the distinguished international standing held by the Kingdom of Bahrain on the map of influential international organizations in the field of public administration. She noted that the Kingdom’s membership on the Board of Directors reflects its commitment to contributing to the formulation of global policies and strategies aimed at developing administrative sciences and supporting institutional governance initiatives that ensure the sustainability of international organizations and enhance the efficiency of their outputs.
This came during Her Excellency’s participation in the meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS), which was held via videoconference. The meeting was attended by a group of global officials and experts in the fields of public administration and administrative development who are members of the Board.
During the meeting, the Board discussed a package of important issues related to institutional governance. This meeting serves as a key platform for coordinating international efforts and exploring ways to develop administrative practices, in line with aspirations to exchange expertise and build institutional capacities across member states.
