Institute of Public Administration was established by Decree No. (65) for the year 2006 issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain in June 28, 2006 and It follows the Council of Ministers.

Mission:
Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) aims at achieving advanced government performance that supports economic and social development plans. This objective is achieved through the development of performance with the aim of keeping abreast of developmental ambitions and promotion of resources, which enable providing such services, building capabilities that goes in line with innovative changes of ongoing development and creating policies and strategies that ensure accomplishment of sustainable development.
Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) seeks to achieve its objectives through the provision of learning and training that ensure the development of skills, knowledge and behavior, and by introducing advices that contribute to the decision-making process, conducting person-to person assessment and coaching for building and developing capabilities. All this is supported by strategic communications designed to propagate awareness and culture of public service performance.
