Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, received His Excellency Mr. Alastair Long, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the Director General highlighted the deep-rooted historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly United Kingdom, characterized by ongoing cooperation based on the exchange of institutional knowledge and best administrative practices. She emphasized that such collaboration supports administrative modernization and the development of institutional work systems, noting the Institute’s keenness to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding areas of future partnership to support training and administrative development programs in alignment with institutional development priorities in both countries.
For his part, His Excellency Ambassador Alastair Long expressed his appreciation for the Institute’s efforts in supporting administrative development programs and building national capacities. He affirmed his country’s commitment to continuing joint cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain in implementing qualitative initiatives that contribute to achieving shared developmental goals and strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.
