Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, emphasized the importance of strengthening international academic and research relations and building multi-level partnerships among educational and training institutions. This is achieved through the exchange of expertise and knowledge across various fields, contributing to the preparation and development of national leaders capable of keeping pace with national aspirations and visions in both the public and private sectors.
This was stated during her meeting with Mr. Matthew Ennon, Vice President for Development Affairs at the American University in the United States of America, where areas of cooperation and knowledge exchange were discussed through a number of joint projects and training services.
The Director General noted the Institute’s commitment to implementing its training plans and programs in alignment with national policies aimed at developing the institutional work ecosystem by equipping national cadres with the latest skills and knowledge. She affirmed that the Institute continues to expand its partnerships with various local and international institutions to enhance the quality of services provided.
For his part, Mr. Matthew Ennon stressed the importance of strengthening knowledge exchange and developing institutional capacities, noting that such partnerships contribute to advancing institutional competencies and building bridges of communication between international educational institutions. He also expressed his appreciation to the Institute of Public Administration for its ongoing efforts in promoting administrative excellence, keeping pace with emerging developments, and adopting innovative methodologies in the development of institutional initiatives.
