Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, emphasized the importance of continuously developing national leaders in both the public and private sectors to advance administrative development locally and internationally. This is achieved through offering high-quality programs aligned with global training standards. She noted that the Institute bases the design of its programs and initiatives on scientific frameworks that qualify national leaders and elevate the quality of government services, in line with the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may God protect him, and under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.
This came during the signing of a joint framework between the Institute of Public Administration and NOCN, where Her Excellency explained that achieving accreditation from the National Open College Network (NOCN) reflects the efforts of the Institute’s team to deliver programs of the highest quality for national leaders in both sectors. These efforts enabled the Institute to meet all requirements and standards needed to qualify and be recognized as an internationally accredited center.
Her Excellency added that the signing of this joint framework aims to enhance cooperation and integration in the fields of training and program accreditation. She highlighted that accrediting the National Leadership Development Program and all leadership program series offered across various job levels will open new horizons for developing national initiatives focused on strengthening institutional capabilities in line with the highest international standards. She further noted that accrediting specialized program certificates reinforces confidence in the quality of their outcomes and confirms their alignment with global best practices.
Her Excellency pointed out that the Institute is taking significant steps toward strengthening its position as a hub for thought leadership and administrative development by expanding its local, regional, and international partnerships and continuously developing its training programs in accordance with the best global practices and international standards adopted by leading administrative institutes and schools around the world.
It is worth noting that NOCN is a UK-based nonprofit organization specializing in setting global standards for accrediting qualifications and training programs in cooperation with educational and training institutions, in line with the highest levels of professional quality.
