Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, welcomed Dr. Fatima Abduljabbar Al-Kooheji, Chairwoman of the Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society, along with several members of the society.
During the meeting, Dr. Shaikha Rana emphasized that empowering Bahraini women and enhancing their roles across various sectors is a key pillar in driving sustainable development. She praised the significant efforts of the Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society in supporting women’s contributions to economic and commercial development, strengthening their professional and institutional presence, and promoting their active role in national progress. She also highlighted the importance of supporting initiatives that open new opportunities for Bahraini women in the business environment and enhance their contribution to the national economy.
Dr. Shaikha Rana further commended the Society’s dedicated efforts and constructive collaboration with various entities in advancing women’s roles—especially in the economic sector—through organizing and participating in events at the local, regional, and international levels. She wished the Society continued success in sustaining its path of excellence and achieving greater accomplishments.
For her part, Dr. Fatima Abduljabbar Al-Kooheji expressed her appreciation to Dr. Shaikha Rana for her ongoing support in advancing Bahraini women. She affirmed the Society’s commitment to continuing its work with a spirit of teamwork to strengthen the role of businesswomen in economic and trade collaboration, and to explore new avenues for innovation and entrepreneurship—enhancing the regional and international competitiveness of Bahraini women.
