Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, affirmed that the Institute continues to design and implement leadership programs aimed at developing and empowering national talent. These programs are tailored to institutional needs and delivered in line with international best practices, reinforcing the role of Bahraini professionals as a key pillar in driving institutional development and national progress.
Her remarks came during the closing ceremony of the third edition of the leadership program delivered to members of the Bahrain Development Bank. The program stands as a successful model for customized leadership development initiatives aligned with the bank’s goals of cultivating leadership capabilities and fostering a culture of innovation and institutional excellence.
The program featured a series of intensive training sessions and interactive workshops that focused on leadership skills, project management, design thinking, and innovative solution development. The goal was to empower participants to lead change effectively and deliver added value in their professional environments.
On this occasion, Mrs. Dalal Al Qais, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Development Bank Group, expressed her pride in the participants’ achievements and praised the innovative ideas and projects developed during the program. She emphasized that the partnership with the Institute of Public Administration is a cornerstone of the bank’s strategy to build a pipeline of capable leaders and strengthen leadership capacity across the organization.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Hind Mahmood, Chief Human Resources Officer at the Bahrain Development Bank Group, noted that the program represents a significant step forward in enhancing the institutional environment by advancing the leadership skills of bank employees. She reiterated that human capital development remains a top priority, as it is the most vital element in ensuring institutional sustainability and excellence.
