Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, chaired the third meeting of the Institute’s Equal Opportunities Committee for the year 2025.
During the meeting, Dr. Shaikha Rana emphasized that the unwavering support and care extended by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, serve as a key motivator in continuing efforts to empower Bahraini women and promote gender balance across all initiatives and sectors.
She also underscored the importance of maintaining a productive and ongoing partnership with the Supreme Council for Women to further implement specialized training programs focused on gender balance, women’s needs integration, and equal opportunity practices. The meeting reviewed the Committee’s strategic plan, and the progress achieved during the first half of the year. It also discussed several initiatives aimed at enhancing women’s advancement and reinforcing their leadership role in improving institutional outcomes in both the public and private sectors.
