

The Kingdom of Bahrain has achieved a new milestone with the election of Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS). This recognition comes in appreciation of her significant contributions in the fields of public administration and institutional development, as well as her influential role in supporting initiatives that promote governance and institutional excellence.
The election of Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa to this prestigious position reaffirms the esteemed standing of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the international stage, and highlights the wealth of highly regarded national competencies that are recognized globally.
On this occasion, Her Excellency Dr. Shaikha Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa emphasized that this achievement reflects the great attention and care of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him, and the continuous support and guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to advance Bahrain’s global competitiveness and its ongoing progress and development in the field of public administration. It also underscores the Kingdom’s solid position on the map of administrative development, within a comprehensive and ambitious vision that seeks to fulfill the aspirations of the nation and its citizens, ensuring the continuous enhancement of service quality across all sectors and the optimal utilization of resources for future generations.
She added that her election to the membership of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) affirms the international community’s confidence in Bahraini competencies, their capabilities, efficiency, and their prominent and influential presence on the global stage. She emphasized that Bahrain’s membership in this institute represents significant support and momentum for the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to advance its public administration system, which has led to tangible results in improving the efficiency of government services, developing public policies, enhancing regional and international partnerships, strengthening channels of communication and cooperation with global administrative bodies and institutions, and benefiting from best practices and international experiences. All of these contribute to further solidifying Bahrain’s pioneering position within the global administrative system.
