

The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams stated at the opening ceremony of the 10th batch of the preparation diploma program for the public sector, the Institute seeks sustainability through deepening benefit derived from various training programs, as always been offered for all working levels of numerous government ministries and institutions.
Dr. bin Shams stressed the importance of training through these programs which are designed according to different needs in order to create a distinguished environment to develop the capacities of public sector employees and heave their performance to correspond with the economic vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Senior Training Administrative and Programs Coordinator at the Institute of Public Administration Shaikha Butti welcomed the participants in the 10th batch amounted to 25 from various government ministries and institutions, and briefed them on the laws and regulations of registration and electronic training at the Institute. Mrs. Butti explained to participants program's most important objectives, which seeks to furnish staff with essential tools of working skills and behaviors in the government sector.
Also a graduate from the 9th batch of preparation diploma program – which concluded last October – Ms. Noor Al-Shomeli delivered a speech in which she praised the way and the technique of learning and training in this program, which qualifies the new employees in the government sector to carry out skillfully their tasks and duties.
After the conclusion of the opening ceremony, the representative of e-government Mohamed Al-Hassan presented a workshop on the role of e-government, as part of the first unit of the four main program modules, which revolves around the definition of working in the government sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
It is worth mentioning that the preparation diploma program of the public sector includes three other major modules which are; working in a team, planning to carry out tasks and processes, communication skills and customer service. The program is being implemented throughout 21 training days, which makes a total of 100 hours of training, the trainee then receives a preparation diploma certificate for the public sector from the Institute of Public Administration.
