

The Institute of Public Administration received yesterday 17th September, the ninth batch of professional certificate program in the foundations of human resources, in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Human Resources, where around twenty people from various government bodies and ministries joined the program.
This program has is a fruitful success, as it aims to enhance the skills of staff in the human resources departments in the public sector through introducing identifying civil service laws in force in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and defining management information systems in personnel affairs directorate, through six specialized courses in a total of 118 hours of training.
The specialized courses Include; defining human resources, managing recruitment cycle, building and developing talents along with management of performance, occupational health and safety, and measuring the effectiveness of human resources, as these specialized courses touch essential points in the tasks and functions of human resources staff.
This program also deals with the practical side by requesting participants for an initiative to work on for using it as a case study process, and participants will be able to re-appropriate content for their place of work to help analyzing the status of their human resources work.
The professional certificate program in human resources is a group of specialized professional training programs offered by the Institute of Public Administration under the plan to raise the competency of government and development of human element in the public sector.
